On the twenty sixth of August, there were going to be future plans to close eighteen Clydesdale bank branches because they weren’t getting enough money to operate the banks. All the people that have accounts in the banks that are closing, will either move their bank account to a Clydesdale bank that isn’t closing, or will move their bank accounts to a different bank altogether.

It was 1942 and Britain had been at war with Germany for 4 years and it wasn’t looking good. The Germans had swept through most of Europe and their armies had grown a lot stronger. While the Germans were sweeping through Europe the British were sending troops to France in case of attack from Hitler.

Video Games
Fun Pastime, or bad influence?
People have been arguing over the issue of video games for about a decade. There have been court cases and banning, along with many other actions. I am going to provide you with an insight on my views in this subject.

Today I am going to be arguing against animals in circuses. Animals in circuses do not have lives. They are confined, hit, abused and forced to do things that they don’t want to.

David Parks had grown up in the south of England in the 1930’s. He had had a tough time at school he was the smallest skinniest in the class and was bullied by everyone. Now he was six foot and very fit. When war broke out all he wanted to do was fight for his country. His eighteenth birthday was coming up just as Britain declared war on Germany and he really wanted to be in the army. He really wanted to be a soldier because his grandpa was a general a long time ago, so he thought he would pass on the family tradition of noble soldiers and his friends had been in the army as well. When his birthday came on the eighteenth of October his mum and dad came to see him. One thing he said was “ I want to become a soldier” It all went quiet, then mum burst out crying “I wanted you to never say that but if you want to be a soldier then you can” Mum said shaking.
A few days later he heard in the newspaper that they were looking for volunteers for the army. You had to go to apply at the local army station to be in the army. He went quickly running and running to the station in the middle of town feeling so delighted with himself. The battle had already started. Germany had already taken Poland. He was sure they would need him.

David was driving home from his busy day at work when he saw a young hitchhiker standing on the pavement shivering so he then leant her his sweater. The girl then stepped in the car and gave David her address as he turned round she had disappeared! As he drove away in fear with his adrenalin pumping, because he was not concentrating he lost control and BANG he crashed!!!!!!!!!
