There are a number of qualified First Aiders in school.  It should be noted that as a matter of Authority Policy, children do not receive any first aid other than that which  provides for their safety and security until the appropriate medical assistance can be provided.  School staff are forbidden from administering any kind of medicing to their pupils unless parents have supplied very clear guidelines.  The guidelines should also include written permission for this medicine to be administered by a staff member designated by the senior management team.
