Just to let you know that more uniform stock has arrived in school.  should you require uniform please get in touch with the School Office staff who will be glad to assist you.

Our Nursery pupils are to visit Hazlehead Park on 24 June 2009.  Let’s hope that the weather is good and they can enjoy the outdoors.

Culter Primary School would like to run a Cycling Proficiency course for our Primary 7’s after the Summer holidays.  To do this we need Parent Helpers of pupils at Culter School who are able and willing to give up their spare time.  In previous years parents would come in to school one or two afternoons per week for approximately 6-7 weeks. Prior to helping Parent Helpers were given training from the Road Safety Officer and also completed a Scottish Criminal Records Office check. We always want our children to feel safe on the roads and appreciate the fine support that our parents provide.  With your help we can progress this excellent opportunity for our pupils to learn how to be safe on the roads.  Please get in touch with the School Office or leave a comment at the Office Blog if you think that you can help.

Our Primary 7 pupils are looking forward to Activities Week.  Here is a  brief description of what is planned for:

Monday 29 June:   Cineworld (Night at the Museum2) & Superbowl (Tenpin bowling)

Tuesday 30 June: Goals Football Complex (5 A-side Football)

Wednesday 1 July:  Transition Extreme (Climbing/Skate Park/Basketball)

Thursday 2 July:  Beach Leisure Centre (Swimming/Indoor Sports)

This is confirmation that Culter School Sports is to go ahead to-day as previously planned.  The start time is 1.30 p.m. in the school field.

Culter School will be closed to pupils on Friday 5th June 2009 as this is an INSET Day.  School will be open at the usual time for pupils again on Monday 8 June 2009.

Just a reminder that Sports Day is planned for 4th June 2009  at 1.30 p.m. (weather permitting).  If the weather does not allow for the 4th the next date is 11th June 2009 at 1.30 p.m.  Let’s hope the good weather continues!
