An order form will reach you soon. Should you wish to obtain photograph/s please send in the order form and full payment in a sealed envelope marked with your child’s name and class on it.  If paying by cheque, please make it payable to  ”Culter School Fund”.  All photograph orders need to be in school by  Wednesday 15th September 2010.

All our Primary 1 pupils will be attending school full-time as of  Monday 6 September 2010.  They should all report for school to start at 9.00 a.m. Their lunchtime will be for one hour -  12.20 p.m. to 1.20 p.m. The school day for P1-P3 pupils finishes at 3.15 p.m.

The Parent Council are having a Bingo Night on Thursday 23 September 2010.  Please can we have donations of canned food, unwanted gifts etc.  Everyone welcome - remember the more we receive, the more support we can give the school.  With thanks

Just to say a big thank you to all who sent in donations for the Rag Bag collection.  We had 112 bags picked up.  A fantastic effort that is very much appreciated.

This year we hope to raise funds for our new library with Webb Ivory.  Catalogues will come home soon with the children, please have a browse.  The library will receive 25 percent profit from anything you buy. Any order placed should have your child’s name and class on it.  Cheques should be made payable to: I. Watson.  Thanks!

The children are now borrowing books to read at home so it would be great to give them some fantastic new books to choose from.

The items are to be collected on Monday 30th August, 2010.  All those who have bag/s of  items they want to donate should send them in to the school before 9.00 a.m. Monday morning.  On previous occasions the driver  arrived at  9.15 a.m.

Please note that Friday 8th October 2010 is an additional In-Service Day and pupils are not required to be in school.

We are urgently looking for volunteers to help out with Cycling Proficiency instruction for our senior pupils. Please contact the School Office if you would like further information or you are available to help.  If we do not have the required amount of helpers then the cycling lessons may not go ahead.  All Parent Helpers require to have a Scottish Criminal Records Check and these forms are available at the School Office.

We have adopted a Red Kite from RSPB and as the result of a school vote, have called her ‘Culter Galaxy’.

The weather is ‘hotting up’, can pupils please be provided with sun lotion/cream to apply before school lunchtimes.  This may be particularly necessary for ‘Sports Day’ tomorrow afternoon.
